About the event
Indonesia’s palm oil industry generates significant volumes of by-products and waste, including approximately 100 million tons of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) annually. While conventionally treated as an environmental management challenge, POME also presents substantial opportunities for renewable energy generation, emissions reduction, and new business value through its conversion into biogas, biomethane, and BioCNG.
